2.1 Authentication & Subscription Data

  • Anonymous User Identifier: A randomly generated anonymous identifier for authentication purposes only. This identifier contains no personal information and cannot be traced back to you.
  • Purchase Information: Subscription status and purchase history through Apple's In-App Purchase system, managed by RevenueCat for subscription verification and restoration purposes.

2.2 Marketing & App Improvement Data

To provide you with relevant updates, tips, and improve your app experience, we collect limited analytics data through a third-party marketing platform:

  • Device Identifier: A unique device identifier to deliver personalized notifications and prevent duplicate messages.
  • App Interactions: Information about which features you use most, helping us improve the app and send relevant Feng Shui tips.
  • Purchase Events: Information about subscription activities to provide appropriate content and offers.
Important: This marketing data is completely separate from your personal content. We cannot and do not link this information to your identity, images, or Feng Shui analyses. It's used solely to improve your app experience and deliver relevant content.
Your Personal Data Remains Private: All your personal data, including images, analysis results, space information, and app settings, are stored exclusively on your device's local storage. We do not have access to, collect, or store any of this information on our servers.

Purchase Restoration: Your subscription purchases can be securely and quickly restored when you reinstall the app, thanks to Apple's secure purchase restoration system.

  • FAL.AI (Google Veo 3.1 & Nano Banana): AI-powered transformation video generation and photo generation (temporary processing, auto-deleted)

These services operate under strict privacy standards and do not have access to your personal content, images, or Feng Shui analysis results.

5.1 Third-Party AI Services & Data Processing

To provide core app functionality, FengShui Hero shares your uploaded photos with the following AI services:

OpenAI (GPT-4o mini)

Purpose:

Analyzes your space photos to identify Feng Shui elements, energy flow patterns, and provide personalized recommendations.

What We Share:

  • Your uploaded space photos (converted to base64 format)
  • No personal information, names, or identifying data
  • Photos are sent via encrypted HTTPS connection through our secure Firebase Cloud Functions proxy

Data Retention:

  • Your photos are processed in real-time and are NOT stored by OpenAI
  • OpenAI does not use your photos for model training
  • Processing typically completes within 5-15 seconds
  • All data is deleted immediately after analysis

Your Control:

  • You can manage AI data sharing consent through your device settings (iOS Settings → FengShui Hero)
  • Photo analysis features require consent to function

FAL.AI (Google Veo 3.1 & Nano Banana)

Purpose:

Creates transformation videos using Google Veo 3.1 and generates reimagined space designs using Google's Nano Banana model based on our Feng Shui recommendations.

What We Share:

  • Your original space photo and AI-generated transformation image
  • Descriptive prompts for video and image generation (no personal information)
  • All data sent via encrypted connection through our Firebase Cloud Functions proxy

Data Retention:

  • Your images are processed for video and photo generation only
  • FAL.AI stores images temporarily during generation (15-30 seconds)
  • All source images are automatically deleted after generation completes
  • Generated videos and images are delivered to you and deleted from FAL.AI servers

Technology:

  • Video generation powered by Google's Veo 3.1 advanced video generation model
  • Photo generation powered by Google's Nano Banana model
  • Processes data in secure Google Cloud infrastructure
  • Your images are not used for model training or any other purpose
