Northeast is still between north and east on the compass, wherever you live. Morning sun still rises in the east. Copy the beam, not a plant calendar written for a northern winter.
Treat the glass that actually gets the low morning sun. In Australia and New Zealand the hot midday pane is often a north window, which is a different article. A June morning in Melbourne is a winter morning. The rake test is the same: sit at breakfast, name the stripe, dress that pane. If the door opens into a covered walk and the only morning sun is on another room, dress that glass. Keep the facing label on the door you unlock.
What about knowledge gua and earth objects?
If you want the elemental overlay, keep it small and labeled. Earth on northeast is a map, not a spell. Keep one ceramic or square object you already own. Yellow or sand as a pillow, not a painted landlord wall. A gravel tray you will not dust is clutter.
