A kitchen is fire (stove) and water (sink, fridge) in one run. See the door if you can, keep a path, fix what is broken. The stove does not pay a bill.
When we photograph "wealth kitchens," the counter is a second pantry and the cook faces a wall. People ask for a mirror to double prosperity. The aisle is one person wide. This page is the walk and the wipe, then the cycle.
Money claim limit: wealth. Table next door: dining. Fire: fire. Water: water.
Command at the range
You would rather see who enters while you hold a pan. That is startle, not authority. A solid wall behind the stove is a back. A window over a range is draft and grease on glass.
Most flats cannot move the box. Options:
- A small mirror or a shiny backsplash that shows the door, wiped after cooking.
- A slight angle of your body if the aisle allows. Do not cook in the swing.
- Accept the wall-facing range and keep the aisle clear.
A beam over the stove is height and grease. You cannot always move it. A cleaner hood is the job.
A stove that faces the front door of the house is a smell line. Close a kitchen door or park a screen if you care. Wealth leaving through that line is a slogan.
Fire and water on one counter
Sink, dishwasher, and fridge are water. Stove and oven are fire. Adjacent is common in a galley. Splash and heat are the real fight.
A wooden board or a pot of herbs between them is the "wood bridges" picture. Earth (a beige tile, a ceramic jar) is the other classroom extra. You do not need both.
Twenty-four inches is a blog number. If the run is shorter, cook and wipe.
Knives on a magnetic strip are a reach and a kid job. In a drawer is fine. Open blades are not a curse. They are a cut.
A fridge that dumps on the stove when the door opens is a layout. Shift the hinge if you can. You cannot always.
Colors and objects
Cream, wood, a small red pot: taste. Navy on every wall is a cave to cook in. We will not call dark blue a financial clash. Colors.
A fruit bowl you eat from is food. A dead plant is a chore. Wood. A jade plant is not a reserve account.
Use the burners you need. A broken one is a repair. "Rotate daily for unused wealth" is a shop line.
Trash: a lid, not next to the flame if you can help it. Visible bin is manners, not sha.
Salt bowls and crystals on a greasy sill are dust. Skip them.
A wind chime in a kitchen door is a knock every time you pass. Wind chimes belong where there is wind.
Triangle, pantry, bath above
Stove, sink, fridge in a walk you can do without a dance: that is cooking. Four-to-nine-foot sides are textbook. A studio kitchen is shorter. Keep the path.
A stocked pantry is groceries. Labels help you find rice. They do not activate prosperity.
A bath over a kitchen is a leak risk. Fix drips. We will not attach illness to the stack.
Working triangle blocked by a table: move the table or accept a two-cook limit.
Renters and galleys
You own pots, a board, bulbs, and a fruit bowl you take. You do not tile. You do not move the range. Renters.
A closet kitchen: door open while you cook (steam), closed when you leave if the smell bothers the bed. Small apartment.
Laundry in the kitchen: machines closed, no wet pile on the cutting board. Laundry.
A weekend sequence
- Photograph from the kitchen door and from the stove.
- Clear one counter run.
- Fix or unplug what is dead.
- Add a board or a herb if fire and water share a seam.
- Stop buying a jade for the sill.
What to skip
Do not promise abundance, health, or family peace. Do not paste an App Store URL in the body. Do not call unused burners missed income. Do not hang a crystal over a flame.
If you cannot move the stove, the aisle and the wipe are the article.
How to judge a change
You can cook without turning sideways. You see the door or you accepted the mirror. Nothing on the counter is rotting.
