Pets are animals you feed, walk, and scoop. A bed out of the aisle and a clean box are chores. They do not clear chi, guard a gua, or pay a bill.
When we photograph "pet homes," the landing is a second closet of leashes and the litter is in the wealth corner because that was the only tile. People ask which fish is luckiest. The door cannot open. This page is path, bowls, and poison.
Tank: aquarium. Piles: decluttering. Door: entryway. Plants as wood: wood.
What we will not claim
Dogs as earth, loyalty, and a living alarm: they bark. That is not protective chi at the mouth of the house.
Cats as masters who avoid "negative lines": they pick a warm, high, quiet spot. Watch that if you like. It is not a survey of the floor.
Fish as wealth: movement in water is a tank you maintain. Aquarium owns the livestock. This page will not rank arowana.
Birds as opportunity and turtles as longevity are shop stories. Keep the cage or the tank clean if you keep the animal.
Yang from a dog at the door is a greeting. Yin from a sleeping cat is a nap. Yin-yang is a room job, not a species job.
Bed and crate
Out of the door swing. Out of the hall you walk at 2 a.m. A wall at the back is a draft break. A view of the room is optional comfort, same idea as command for people. Furniture.
Not under a leaky window if you can help it. Not in the exact center if that is the only path. Raised vs floor is the animal's joints and the draft, not "cold floor chi."
A crate in the bedroom: you sleep, they sleep. A crate in the entry: the door still must open 90 degrees.
Bowls and litter
Quiet, wipeable, not the welcome mat. Not the only southeast floor if that forces you to step in kibble. "Keep food out of the wealth corner" is a map extra. Hygiene wins.
Steel or ceramic if the animal will not crack it. Plastic that holds grease is a wash job. Water changed because they drink it.
Litter: scooped on a schedule, away from the stove and the pillow if you can. A closed bin for bags. Dirty litter is smell. We will not call it the worst chi in the house. Kitchen if food and litter share a wall.
A mat under bowls is a drip catch.
Plants
Wood energy is a living pot. Toxic leaves are a vet problem. Check a current poison list for your species. Lilies (including pollen) are a known cat emergency. "Lucky" jade, money trees, and snake plants show up on both Feng Shui lists and caution lists. Do not copy a blog. Look the Latin name up.
Skip the plant if you cannot keep it off the floor. A high shelf still drops leaves.

Clutter that is actually gear
One station: food, towel, spare leash. A closed bin for toys. Rotate if the floor disappears. Fur on a vent is a vacuum. Decluttering.
A second bed in every room is a trip. One or two you will wash.
Renters: pads and bins you take. Report chewed trim. Renters. A studio: bowls not in the bed path. Small apartment.
A weekend sequence
- Photograph the door, the bed, and the bowls.
- Move the bed out of the swing.
- Wash bowls. Scoop the box.
- Check one plant against a poison list.
- Stop buying a lucky turtle.
What to skip
Do not promise harmony or income from a species. Do not paste an App Store URL in the body. Do not put a tank on a dresser facing the pillow. Do not treat a cat nap as a bagua reading.
If the aisle is the problem, the path is the article.
How to judge a change
You open the door without kicking a bowl. The box does not greet the guest first. The plant is one you verified.
